I want to express my sincere gratitude for the fine article published in The Georgia Bulletin on Sister Maria de Jesus (Sept. 27). Please convey our gratitude to Priscilla Greear for capturing the essence of Sister’s life and work.

Those of us who have known Sister Maria de Jesus for these past 17 years are witnesses of a simple and humble consecrated soul sharing her love and compassion for all. She takes the time to listen, to care and to find solutions for their problems. It was a true blessing to have her in our midst.

She is one more example of the dedication of so many of the Sisters in our community.
