To the Editor:

I am deeply grateful for the wonderful article in the April 12 edition, “The Journey to Easter.” Kudos to Michael Alexander (a truly gifted photographer) for capturing the beauty of the Christian Initiation journey through the photos and story of Paul and Mandy Merck. One of the privileges and joys of those who minister in the Christian Initiation process is to hear the stories of those preparing for the Easter sacraments. I’ve often wished the entire church could hear what we hear and now, through this article, the church can! Thanks for a beautiful portrait of Christian Initiation!
