Pinecrest Middle School Boys Win Championship

The Pinecrest Academy boys’ middle school basketball team won the North Atlanta Metro League Championship (NAML) Saturday, Feb. 3, by defeating Mount Vernon Presbyterian School, Atlanta, by a score of 37-35. Pinecrest was led in scoring by Joseph Neiner with 15 points, Bryce Haynes with 10 points and Arturo Merriman with 8 points. Neiner and Merriman were selected to the NAML all-star team.
