Nominees Sought For Annual Recognition Day

MARIETTA—The Atlanta Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women will hold its 30th annual AACCW Recognition Day on Saturday, March 17, at St. Joseph Church. The Mass to honor the contributions of outstanding women and youth in the Archdiocese will begin at 10 a.m. and will be celebrated by Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory, along with Father Paul Berny, spiritual moderator for the group, and other priests of the diocese.

At the event, the AACCW will honor one woman and one high school senior youth from each parish in the archdiocese for their dedicated work for their church and in their community. Parishes are asked to send the names of their honorees to Dorothy Rutledge, 3257 Spring Lake Overlook, Lithonia, GA 30038.

The deadline for parishes to submit nominees is Friday, Feb. 16.
