Roswell Parish’s Mission To Highlight Meeting Christ In Christmas

ROSWELL—St. Peter Chanel Church is hosting an Advent mission beginning on Saturday, Dec. 11, and continuing through Wednesday, Dec. 15. The mission, entitled “Preparing To Meet Christ in Christmas,” will be led by Father Brian Higgins, vocations director for the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

Father Higgins will preach at all Masses at the church on Dec. 11-12 and will lead the sessions beginning at 7 p.m. each evening on Dec. 13-15. The mission will conclude on Wednesday, Dec. 15, with the parish Advent penance service.

The topics for each night of the mission are: Monday, Dec. 13, “What’s Reality?”; Tuesday, Dec. 14, “Morality Isn’t for Wimps”; and Wednesday, Dec. 15, “Confession: A New Beginning.”

All are invited to attend the mission. St. Peter Chanel Church is located at 11330 Woodstock Road, Roswell.
