Apple Annie Craft Show Opens Dec. 3 At Parish

MARIETTA—The 24th annual Apple Annie Crafts and Arts Show, a highly anticipated seasonal event, will be presented by the St. Ann’s Women’s Guild on Friday, Dec. 3, and Saturday, Dec. 4.

One of the largest nonprofit shows in the Southeast, it will present the works of over 135 of the region’s finest artisans and crafters at the Church of St. Ann, 4905 Roswell Road, NE.

The friendly staff presents a high quality and large assortment of crafts and arts in a festive and intimate setting. The show is produced by over 400 volunteers; all proceeds are donated to church ministries and community outreach programs. Traditionally over 6,000 shoppers attend.

The show will be open on Friday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Admission for adults is $2. The cost for seniors is $1 and children under 12 are free. No strollers are permitted at the show. Free shuttle service is provided from the East Cobb Church of Christ, 5240 Roswell Road.

In addition to the crafts and works of art, shoppers will have a chance to win donated items including an heirloom quilt. Homemade soups and desserts will be available from the show’s kitchen.

Applications to participate as an artisan or crafter in the 2005 show will be available in March. Participants are jury selected.
