Young adults will meet Saturday, Nov. 6, at 11:30 a.m. at the CATHEDRAL OF CHRIST THE KING, 2699 Peachtree Rd., NE, Atlanta, on the upper parking deck for a REVIVE DRIVE. Groups will split up and distribute REVIVE postcards at coffee shops, bookstores, campuses and person to person and then meet back and go out to lunch. Contact Ann at

All are invited to the ATLANTA CATHOLIC SPORTS (ACS) FALL SOCIAL on Friday, Nov. 12. The social, which will feature free food, door prizes, and pool, will be held at Bridgetown Grill Midtown, 689 Peachtree Street from 8 p.m.-midnight. The SECOND SATURDAY HALF DAY OF SERVICE AND VISITATION will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Come to the St. Vincent de Paul Outreach Center, 2050 Chamblee-Tucker Road, Atlanta, at 9 a.m. to choose among various service opportunities including doing yard-work, light house cleaning, or laundry, but more important is the opportunity to visit someone special, who may be ill, handicapped or elderly. “ON THE DECK” COLLEGE MINISTRY will be offered Thursday, Nov. 18. Georgia Tech has blocked out 150-200 seats for the Saturday, Nov. 13, GEORGIA TECH/UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT GAME to use as a fund-raiser for the Thanksgiving young adult mission trip to Mustard Seed Communities (MSC) in Jamaica. Tickets are $20, and $5 will go back to MSC. Order tickets on-line at www.ramblinwreck.com (click on tickets, click on order tickets online, click on group ticket window, then type in: mustard (user ID) and seed (for password)). Game time is to be determined. Before the game, the Mustard Seed team is hosting a tailgating party at Atlanta Brewing Co., 1219 Williams Street, Atlanta, tentatively starting at 11 a.m. (depending on game time) Cost is $10 to partake in the pre-game festivities, with all proceeds going to MSC. YAM and CTK Singles are hosting an ADVENT DAY RETREAT, “JOY IN FINDING JESUS,” on Sunday, Dec. 12. Join us for a day of reflection, prayer and fellowship in celebration of the true reason for Christmas.
