“ON THE DECK” COLLEGE MINISTRY will be offered Thursdays, Oct. 7, Oct. 28 and Nov. 18. All college-age young adults are invited for food, fellowship, faith discussions and praise and worship every third Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Mike Judge’s house, 2545 Waterstone Way, Marietta. All young adults are invited for MOUNTAIN BIKING AND INLINE SKATING on Saturday, Oct. 9, and Sunday, Oct. 24, at Big Creek Greenway in Alpharetta at 10:30 a.m. (The ride lasts about 2-1/2 hours, with social time following.) Helmets are mandatory. Bring wrist guards, kneepads, elbow pads, your ID and a contact list with health insurance information. Come out and get involved at the next YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY, ADVENTURE, AND ATLANTA CATHOLIC SPORTS MEETINGS on Tuesday, Oct. 12. The meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at St. Andrew Church, 675 Riverside Rd., Roswell, on the second floor of building D. The Atlanta Catholic Sports and Christ the King FALL CAMPING TRIP is set for Oct. 15-17. Join the ACS and CTK adventure groups for a trip to Brevard, N.C. (3 hours north of Atlanta in the Pisgah National Forest of the Blue Ridge Mountains). The fee of $35 includes the campsite and four meals. No refunds for cancellations. YAM (Young Adult Ministry) hosts “ASK FATHER ANYTHING NIGHT” on Friday, Oct 15, at 7 p.m. with Father Joe Shaute, young adult priest from St. Theresa Church, Douglasville. The first hour is a social time, followed by Q&A at 8 p.m. and then time to play pool and relax. The next WOW! (WIDE OPEN WORSHIP) is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 18, at a new location. Join ACS Adventure for a 5-K BENEFIT RUN FOR THE RIVER on Saturday, Nov. 6, that benefits Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. The race fee is $25. Young Adult Ministry will hold REVIVE on Saturday, Nov. 20. The theme is “HOPE in a God Who Won’t Let Go.” This event, which includes a night of speakers, music and eucharistic adoration, will be held at St. Andrew Church, 675 Riverside Rd., Roswell. Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m., the program will be held from 6:30-10 p.m., and a social will follow from 10-11 p.m. Confession and food will be available throughout the night. Speakers include Christine O’Donnell, a nationally known speaker and writer, Chris and Michelle Benzinger, missionaries with Trinity World Missions, and Father Jose Robles, a speaker who challenges young adults to have an authentic life in Christ and the pastor of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Alexandria, La.
