Classes For Adults Offered At St. Jude

ATLANTA—St. Jude the Apostle Church is offering various catechetical opportunities for adults.

First, St. Jude, in partnership with All Saints Church in Dunwoody, offers a study of Women in Scripture meeting on Tuesdays from 10-11:30 a.m. at St. Jude the Apostle and Wednesdays from 9:30-11 a.m. at All Saints. Katie Hall will facilitate the prayer/study using the Catholic Serendipity Bible, which will be available for purchase at the meetings. St. Jude is also offering “The Gospel of Matthew” beginning Sunday, Oct. 3, at 9:30 a.m. in the parish hall. This will alternate with “The Spirituality of St. Teresa of Avila/The Interior Castle” with Father Marty Kopchick, MSFS, every other Sunday, Oct. 10, beginning at 8 a.m. in the parish hall. A Little Rock Scripture Study is currently meeting on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. in the D’Youville Center of St. Jude. The group is now studying the Book of Isaiah. For more information on this study, e-mail manderson@stjudeatlanta.net or call (770) 394-4588, ext. 528.

On Wednesday nights, beginning Oct. 6, at 6 p.m. St. Jude’s will offer “Pizza, God and Scripture,” an evening of pizza, theology and Scripture.
