Chaplain Given Medal For Service In Iraq

Father Michael Heninger, the son of Byrne and Marian Heninger of St. Michael Church, Gainesville, was recently awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his ministry as a chaplain while serving in the 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized). He is currently serving his second tour in Baghdad, Iraq, with the 1st Cavalry Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II.
