Maisha Events Offered In January

ATLANTA—Maisha House of Prayer is holding two special events in January 2004.

Maisha’s annual Peace Prayer will take place on Jan. 1. Prayer time is for peace in our hearts, our world, and the whole universe. All are invited to the event, which will take place from 2:45 p.m.-4:45 p.m. The prayer time will conclude with Mass at 5 p.m., which will be celebrated by Father John Adamski. Food and fellowship will follow the Mass.

The program Earth Connections will be held on Jan. 3. from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. The presenters, Denise Rushing and Diza, are part of the core community at Rockhaven Ecozoic Center near St. Louis. This program offers the opportunity to explore the nature and spiritual meaning of recent discoveries about earth and the universe and the sacred connections between the human and earth wisdom.
