St. Joseph Students Attend Advent Retreat

MARIETTA—On Friday, Dec. 5, middle school students at St. Joseph School, Marietta, spent the morning preparing for Advent. Students attended a retreat in the parish center, which included games, skits, live praise and worship music and crafts.

Father Ricardo Bailey, a parochial vicar at St. Joseph Church, joined the students for the morning and spoke to them about the importance of asking for forgiveness during Advent. He also blessed Advent wreaths made by the students. The retreat was coordinated by the middle school teachers and the school’s spiritual life committee.
