Atlanta Boy Choir To Perform In Conyers Dec. 13

Published: November 27, 2003

CONYERS—In its 46-year history, the Atlanta Boy Choir has entertained audiences from Atlanta to St. Petersburg, Russia, and at hundreds of concert halls and great cathedrals in between. The acclaimed group will continue a 23-year local holiday tradition when they perform at the Abbey of Our Lady of Holy Spirit Monastery on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m.

Tickets to the concert are $20 per person and are available at the Conyers Welcome Center or by calling (770) 602-2606. Half of the net proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the monastery’s program to feed the hungry. They have one of the largest and most extensive food programs in the Atlanta area and this event provides much needed assistance.

The Atlanta Boy Choir, founded in 1957 by Fletcher Wolfe, is now under the baton of David R. White and is considered one of the finest choral groups of its kind in the world.

The Monastery of the Holy Spirit is located at 2625 Georgia Highway 212 in Conyers. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. on the evening of the concert.
