Published: November 20, 2003

SNELLVILLE—Catechist Randy Ory will present a series entitled “The First Noel: An Exploration of the Infancy Narratives of St. Matthew and St. Mark” in December at St Oliver Plunkett Church and St. John Neumann Church. The series will be presented at St. Oliver’s, 3200 Brooks Drive, Snellville, on Monday, Dec. 1, Thursday, Dec. 11 and Monday, Dec. 15 from 7-9 p.m. and at St. John Neumann Church, 801 Tom Smith Road, Lilburn, on Tuesdays, Dec. 2 and 9 from 7-9 p.m. In the series Ory will explore the opening chapters of the Gospels of Sts. Matthew and Luke. Beyond a study of the basic similarities and differences found in the approach used by Matthew and Luke, the series will focus on the way these intriguing stories connect to the larger narrative context. All are invited to attend. For information contact him at (770) 982-8211 or oryr@bellsouth.net.
