
Dessert Reception Nov. 23 Will Feature Greg Koukl

FAIRBURN—Gregory Koukl, founder and president of Stand to Reason, will be the guest speaker at a dessert reception sponsored by St. Philip Benizi Church, Jonesboro, and the Southern Crescent Chapter of Georgia Right to Life.
The event will be held at Our Lady of Mercy High School in Fairburn on Sunday, Nov. 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. The school is located at 861 Georgia Highway 279 (Evander Holyfield Highway) near the intersection of Highway 138.
Koukl is the co-author of a program titled “Making Abortion Unthinkable ... the Art of Pro-Life Persuasion.” In addition to hosting a weekly radio program, he has authored two books and numerous articles on apologetics, moral relativism and ethics and contemporary moral issues.
Music will be provided by the group “Fly by Light” and the Our Lady of Mercy choir with a special song by composer and singer Jerry Aull.
The free event is open to the public. An offering will be taken that will benefit “Jeremiah’s Call,” the archdiocesan outreach supporting Georgia Right to Life’s Project REACH pro-life advertising campaign.
