
Clergy Assignments

ATLANTA—Archbishop John F. Donoghue has announced the following clergy assignments:
Father Kurian “Thomas” Karickal, MSFS, who has been serving at St. Patrick Church, Norcross, has been assigned as a parochial vicar at St. Mark Church, Clarkesville, and St. Helena Mission, Clayton, effective Nov. 6.
Father John M. Murphy has been assigned as a parochial vicar at St. James the Apostle Church, McDonough, effective Oct. 23.
Deacon Michael K. Balfour has been assigned as lead clergy to the Cursillo movement in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, effective Sept. 10.
Archbishop Donoghue has also confirmed the recommendation of Very Reverend Anthony Bannon, LC, territorial director of the Legionaries of Christ, and assigned Father Paul Moreau, LC, as vice-rector of the Legionaries House in Atlanta and as support to Father James Larson, LC, in conjunction with activities of Regnum Christi in the archdiocese, effective Oct. 8. For canonical status, Father Moreau has been appointed as a parochial vicar at All Saints Church, Dunwoody. |
