Published: October 9, 2003

ATLANTA—Archbishop John F. Donoghue has announced the appointment of new Vicars for Clergy.

Father Francis (Frank) McNamee, pastor of St. Peter Chanel Church, Roswell, vicar forane and priest in charge of priest personnel, and Father Luke Ballman, parochial vicar at Holy Spirit Church, Atlanta, have been appointed as Vicars for Clergy, effective Oct. 1, 2003.

The archbishop also reaffirmed the recent appointment of Father Jose Duvan Gonzalez, parochial vicar at San Felipe de Jesus Church, Forest Park, as a Vicar for Clergy.

They will serve three-year terms as Vicars for Clergy, the archbishop said. Ex officio, they are also members of the Council of Priests. They succeed Msgr. Henry Gracz and Father Richard Morrow.
