St. Peter Chanel Hosts Photojournalist Who Chronicled Mother Teresa

Published: September 25, 2003

Atlanta—Pope John Paul II’s beatification of Mother Teresa in October will be one of the biggest international events of the year. Prior to the illness that took Mother Teresa from public view and to her death, one photojournalist, Linda Schaefer, was personally invited to make a photographic journey through Mother Teresa’s world. Hosted by St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church on Oct. 6, at 7:30 p.m., “Come and See” is a depiction of Linda Schaefer’s personal insight into Mother Teresa’s humanness, compassion and humbleness. Come and see the work of Mother Teresa and her life among her Missionaries of Charity. Come and see what the camera caught in those final months. St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church is located at 11330 Woodstock Road, Roswell. For additional information, please call (678) 277-9424, or visit www.stpeterchanel.org.
