Local Author To Speak On American Dream

Published: September 25, 2003

ATLANTA—The Cathedral of Christ the King will sponsor “The American Dream: Can It Survive Without God?”—a talk by author Charlie Douglas, Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cathedral Parish Hall.

Douglas, the author of the newly released book “Awaken the American Dream,” will discuss the religious underpinnings of America’s true spirit and why the nation needs to “return to the City of God.”

Douglas is an attorney, financial advisor, lecturer and keynote speaker. He has diverse experience and a willingness to think beyond traditional concepts in comprehensive financial planning.

Drawing on his 20 years of experience as a professional advisor, Douglas helps clients to develop a more lasting wealth and is committed to helping others determine their core values and craft family mission statements. This altruistic sense and concern for people led him to write “Awaken the American Dream.”

The Cathedral is located at 2699 Peachtree Road, NE. For more information, call the Cathedral at (404) 233-2145.
