Douglasville Parish Holds Fall Festival
Published: September 25, 2003
DOUGLASVILLE—The St. Theresa’s Church Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4. Festivities commence at 9:30 a.m. with the blessing and dedication of the new church sign by the pastor, Father Richard Tibbetts, and will continue until 3 p.m. The church is located at 4401 Prestley Milll Road.
One of the highlights will be a chance to “send your friend to jail.” Time will be served in the wet sponge booth. Children will also have fun playing games including a basketball toss and fishing pond, getting their faces painted and jumping in the Noah’s Ark moonwalk. The Douglasville police K-9 unit will be on hand. Family and friends can listen to live music while shopping at the white elephant or used book table or tasting food with an international flair.
