Fall Series Explores Adult Faith Topics

LITHIA SPRINGS—St. John Vianney Church will be hosting a new adult education series on 10 Thursdays beginning Sept. 11.

Topics will include piety, devotion and prayer; reconciliation; pain, evil and suffering; divorce, remarriage and annulments; current moral issues in the church; Franciscan charism and ministry; eucharistic life; American Catholicism in the 21st century; and parenting the teen or adolescent. Topics will be presented by pastor Father Carl Zdancewicz, OFM Conv., Father Mark Thomas Booth, OFM Conv., Father Linus DeSantis, OFM Conv., Father Vincent Gluc, OFM Conv., Father Steve Yander, Michele Frey and others.

All are welcome to any or all sessions, which will be held from 7:30-9 p.m. at the church, located at 1920 Skyview Drive, Lithia Springs. For specific dates call Judy at the parish at (770) 941-2807.
