Priest Assignments

ATLANTA—Archbishop John F. Donoghue has announced the following priest assignments:

He has confirmed the recommendation of Very Reverend John S. McHugh, SOLT, Regional Priest Servant of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, and appointed Father Scott Brossart, SOLT, as the priest for the SOLT-HOSTE Community in Covington. This appointment was effective July 29.

Father Brian Higgins, vocations director of the archdiocese, will reside at St. Peter Chanel Church, Roswell, effective Aug. 18. For the sake of canonical status, he has been appointed as a parochial vicar at St. Peter Chanel Church.

The archbishop has also granted the request of Father Adrian Pleus, pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Dallas, to make the parish part of the South Metro Deanery, effective July 23.
