St. Benedict Parish Holds Healing Service

DULUTH-St. Benedict Church in Duluth will host a healing service with Ferdinand and Barbara Roccanti on Friday, March 14. Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. by Msgr. Hugh Marren followed by the talk and healing service. All are welcome.

Ferdinand Roccanti of Granger, Ind., is a Catholic evangelist and over the past two years has been speaking to religious groups across the country, offering testimony to his faith which sustains him in suffering. He also speaks of his love for Mary.

Ferdinand took a five-minute nap in 1994 and when he awoke he had double vision and his eyelids would not open. He was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, a rare, disabling disease affecting the nerve endings of the body coupled with double vision and no depth perception. He heard Jesus prompting him to buy a canvas and in faith he began paint. His hands are moved by the Spirit to paint, during which time he draws closer to God. He and Barbara exemplify the joy of having a personal and fulfilling relationship with Christ. The church is located at 11045 Parsons Road. Call the church for information at (770) 442-5903.
