Parishes Offer Times Of Adoration, Prayer

ATLANTA-The following parishes offer adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every month:

ON FIRST FRIDAY

All Saints Church, 2443 Mount Vernon Road, Dunwoody. Adoration begins following the 9 a.m. Mass first Friday and ends with Benediction after the 5 p.m. Mass. Adoration is also held every Wednesday following 9 a.m. Mass and ending at 7 p.m. with evening prayer and Benediction.

Church of St. Ann, 4905 Roswell Road, NE, Marietta. All night adoration begins after the 7:30 p.m. Mass on first Friday with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and concludes with Benediction prior to the 8 a.m. Mass on Saturday.

Holy Family Church, 3401 Lower Roswell Road, NE, Marietta. Adoration begins with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 9:30 a.m. and closes with Benediction at 5 p.m. A holy hour is also held every Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m.

Holy Spirit Church, 4465 Northside Drive, NW, Atlanta. Adoration is held every first and third Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in St. Mary's Chapel.

Mary Our Queen Church, 6260 The Corners Parkway, Norcross. Adoration begins at 9 a.m. on first Friday and ends at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Monastery of the Visitation, Ridgedale Drive, Snellville. Adoration is held every first Friday beginning after 8 a.m. Mass and ending before the 7:30 p.m. Mass.

Prince of Peace Church, 4300 South Lee St., Buford. Adoration begins after the 9 a.m. Mass on first Friday and ends with Benediction at 4 p.m.

St. Anna Church, 836 E. Spring St., Monroe. Adoration begins at 11:15 a.m. on first Friday with an opening prayer by Father Daniel Toof. Mass is celebrated at 12:15 p.m. followed by a potluck lunch in the parish hall.

St. Augustine of Hippo Church, 11524 Highway 278 East, Covington. Adoration begins following the noon Mass first Friday. Benediction is at 1 p.m.

St. Bernadette Church, 101 S. College St., Cedartown. A holy hour of adoration is held on first Friday from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

St. Brigid Church, 3400 Old Alabama Road, Alpharetta. Adoration is held following the 9 a.m. Mass on first Friday until the 9 a.m. Mass on first Saturday. It is also held on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

St. Gabriel Church, 135 Antioch Road, Fayetteville. Adoration begins at 9 a.m. on first Friday following 8:30 a.m. Mass in the Beltran House Chapel and continues throughout the night, ending with 9 a.m. Mass Saturday.

St. James Church, 562 Vine St., Madison. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins following the noon Mass on first Friday and ends with Benediction at 7 p.m.

St. John Vianney Church, 1920 Skyview Drive, Lithia Springs. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on first Friday, ending with Benediction.

St. Joseph Church, 1775 Haig Mill Road, Dalton. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held following the 9 a.m. Mass and ends with Benediction at 7 p.m. followed by the Spanish Mass. It is also held on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and on Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

St. Joseph Church, 87 Lacy St., Marietta. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held following the 7:30 p.m. Mass on first Friday throughout the night until the 8:30 a.m. Mass on Saturday. Adoration is also held every Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Adoration is held on the other Fridays of the month from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

St. Mary Church, 911 North Broad St., Rome. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins after the noon Mass on first Friday and ends with a Communion service at 8 a.m. Saturday.

St. Monica Church, 1700 Buford Highway, Duluth. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins after the 9 a.m. Mass on first Friday and ends at 7:30 p.m. with Benediction.

St. Oliver Plunkett Church, 3200 Brooks Drive, Snellville. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 9 a.m. and closes with Evening Prayer and Benediction at 9 p.m.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 1397 Helen Highway, Cleveland. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins at noon concluding at 3 p.m.

St. Pius X Church, 2621 Highway 20, SE, Conyers. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins at 7:30 p.m. and continues overnight, concluding at 8 a.m. on Saturday prior to Mass.

St. Philip Benizi Church, 591 Flint River Road, Jonesboro. Adoration begins after the 8:30 a.m. Mass first Friday and continues overnight, concluding at 7:45 a.m. Saturday with Benediction. A holy hour is offered on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

St. Theresa Church, 4401 Priestley Mill Road, Douglasville. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament lasts from 9:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.

IN SPANISH

Misión Católica Nuestra Señora de las Americas, 5918 New Peachtree Road, Doraville. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Spanish begins at 5 p.m. on first Friday and ends with Benediction and Mass at 7 p.m.

WEEKLY ADORATION

Holy Cross Church, 3175 Hathaway Court, Atlanta, holds adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Holy Trinity Church, 101 Walt Banks Road, Peachtree City, holds exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every Friday after the 12:10 p.m. Mass until 9 a.m. Saturday Mass.

Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 1350 Hearst Drive, Atlanta, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held every Thursday following the 8 a.m. Mass until 9:30 a.m.

Sacred Heart Church, 110 North Jefferson St., Milledgeville, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction is held every Friday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. following the 7 p.m. daily Mass.

St. Andrew Church, 675 Riverside Road, Roswell, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held every Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. ending with a Miraculous Medal novena and Benediction from 7 to 8 p.m. A holy hour is held every first Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Church of St. Benedict, 11045 Parsons Road, Duluth. Adoration begins every Friday in Our Lady Chapel after the 9 a.m. Mass and continues for 24 hours, concluding prior to the 9 a.m. Mass on Saturday. A holy hour is also held on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and Thursdays following the 7 p.m. Mass ending with Benediction.

St. Francis of Assisi Church, 2839 Young Harris Highway, Blairsville, holy hour is offered every Monday from 7-8 p.m. On first Friday adoration begins at 10 am. and ends with Benediction at 4:45 p.m. followed by Mass at 5 p.m.

St. Francis de Sales Church, 587 Landers Drive, Mableton, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held every Friday following the 7 p.m. Mass until 8:30 p.m.

St. George Church, 771 Roscoe Road, Newnan, has adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Friday after the 12:10 p.m. Mass, ending at 7 p.m. with Benediction.

St. Jude the Apostle Church, 7171 Glenridge Drive, NE, Atlanta, holds adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Thursday following the 8:30 a.m. Mass and ending with Benediction before the 6 p.m. Mass.

St. Lawrence Church, 319 Grayson Highway, Lawrenceville, holds adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.

St. Mark Church, Highway 197 South, Clarkesville. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held from 8 p.m. on Sunday to Friday at 8 p.m. in the main church.

St. Patrick Church, 2140 Beaver Ruin Road, Norcross, has adoration on Fridays beginning after the 9:15 a.m. Mass and ending at 10 p.m.

St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 535 Rucker Road, Alpharetta. Adoration and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is held every Friday beginning after the 9 a.m. Mass and concluding at 4 p.m. A Benediction service is held from 3 to 4 p.m.

St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4300 King Springs Road, Smyrna, has adoration every Wednesday from noon to 6:45 p.m.

St. Thomas More Church, 624 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur, has adoration every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

MONTHLY ADORATION

Our Lady of the Mount Church, 1227 Scenic Highway, Lookout Mountain, has adoration the third weekend of each month beginning with the 5:30 p.m. Saturday Mass and ending with the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass.
