Your Board Will Help Plan Issues
ATLANTA-This month, The Georgia Bulletin's Youth News is debuting its new Teen Board, made up of high school teens from across the archdiocese.
The board will meet quarterly to plan future issues of Youth News, and board members will also be interviewing their peers and writing stories.
Without further adieu, meet the newest writers for The Georgia Bulletin.
Jonathan Abbamonte (not pictured)
Jonathan, a freshman at Blessed Trinity High School in Roswell is 14 years old and attends St. Catherine of Siena Church in Kennesaw. He enjoys constructing models, collecting stamps and playing soccer.
Ashley Arominski
A senior at Our Lady of Mercy School in Fairburn, Ashley, 17, is a parishioner at St. Philip Benizi Church in Jonesboro. Involved in theater since she was a young child, she is an honor thespian in the International Thespian Society and the president of the Drama Club at OLM.
Tamara Huntley
A junior at Chamblee High School in Chamblee, Tamara attends Christ Our Hope Church in Lithonia. The 16-year-old loves current events and said that CNN is her favorite channel.
Katherine Mozzone
Katherine, 17, is a senior at Woodward Academy in College Park. The Holy Cross Church, Atlanta parishioner is involved in many aspect of her parish and enjoys expressing herself creatively through both performing and visual arts, as well as writing and dancing.
Avé Murray
Avé, 16, is a junior at North Atlanta High School, Atlanta. A parishioner at St. Paul of the Cross Church, Atlanta, Avé was a member of the Junior Hawks Dance Team for two years.
Jonathan Sadie
A parishioner at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Atlanta, Jonathan is a Catholic home-schooled freshman. He has been a student pilot at Northside Aviation since the age of 10 and is a member of the North American Sports Karate Association. He is a Boy Scout on his journey to Eagle Scout.
Gloria Tempka
A parishioner at St. Brigid Church in Alpharetta, Gloria, 16, is a junior at Centennial High School in Roswell. Living in a family of seven, she runs cross country, plays the piano and dances.
