Fund-Raising Efforts For Jeremiah's Call Continue In Archdiocese

ATLANTA - "Light A Candle For Life," a special fund-raiser for Jeremiah's Call, is planned for Nov. 18 at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter, (I-285 & Ashford-Dunwoody Roads). The program will feature as keynote speaker Msgr. James P. Lisante, director of the Christophers. Msgr. Lisante is an author and a regular contributor to both the Fox News Channel and ABC News. His column, "Light One Candle," appears in more than 350 newspapers nationwide. He is also the executive producer and host of the internationally syndicated television program "Christopher Closeup." Msgr. Lisante is also chairman of the Alexander Roberts Fund for Disabled Children, and is a board member of both Morality in Media and Momma's House, an organization that provides assistance to single mothers.

"Jeremiah's Call" is coordinated by the Pro-Life office of the Archdiocese of Atlanta. The goal of "Jeremiah's Call" in 2002 is to raise and donate $100,000 to directly benefit the Georgia Right to Life TV ad. Volunteers are still needed for the dinner event, which will also have a silent auction. The dinner goal is to raise at least $25,000 for the ad campaign.

Tickets are $45, or $75 per couple. Cost for a patron ticket is $150 or $275 for a patron couple. Checks are payable to the GA Right to Life Educational Trust Fund (GRTL ETF).
