Pastoral Program Graduates Last Class
DUNWOODY - The Pastoral Ministry Formation program graduated its last class during a May 14 Mass and commissioning ceremony conducted at All Saints Church, Dunwoody. Archbishop John F. Donoghue was the principal celebrant. The two-year formation program, as well as the leadership track, sponsored by the archdiocesan Office of Lay Ministry Formation and Evangelization, covered a broad range of topics that relate to persons with diverse skills, interests and experiences, and was open to Catholic lay adults currently active and seeking involvement within the formal ministry of the church. During the two-year program, participants learned how to strengthen their basic knowledge of the church, and go into a greater depth of understanding of church teachings and ministry. A one-year intermediate and advanced cathechist formation ministry will replace the two year program.
