Banner To Journey To Dallas, Rome, Toronto

A national movement of laity support for bishops and priests offices made its first stop with its banner, center, in Atlanta June 1 during the Eucharistic Congress. Called Mary's Eucharistic Community of Intercession for Bishops and Priests, the group was formed two years ago to "teach and give people a deeper understanding of the bishops' and priests' offices," said Kathleen Keefe, of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Blue Ridge. The movement of prayer and intercession began in Rome and is part of the apostolic peace of the Divine Mercy, she said. The banner will travel to Dallas June 10; then on to Rome and finally to Toronto for World Youth Day in July.
