Alpharetta Parish Honors New Eagle Scouts
ALPHARETTA-St. Thomas Aquinas Boy Scout Troop 841 held a court of honor Feb. 23 to recognize its new Eagle Scouts, who received the highest award in scouting.
Three from the parish are John Bowen, son of Troop 841 Scoutmaster and Mrs. John Bowen, John Daniels, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Daniels, and Greg O'Sullivan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin O'Sullivan. For their Eagle projects, Bowen built outdoor benches for the St. Thomas Aquinas playground, Daniels built an outdoor picnic and garden area for Arnold Mill Elementary School, Woodstock, and O'Sullivan made baseball lockers for the coach and players at St. Francis High School, Roswell. Formed in 1969, Troop 841 has been sponsored by the parish since the late 1980s.
