KNIGHT FOR LIFE--Rudy Guilment, a parishioner from St. Ann's Church, Barnesville, is among hundreds standing up as defenders of life at a memorial service at the Capitol Jan. 22. Guilment is a member of the Knights of Columbus' Our Lady of Grace at the Grotto Assembly, Council 12948. LEADING THE WAY--Home-schooled children from Lilburn hold the banner as they lead the 2002 Together for Life Walk down Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta.
PRO-LIFE CROWD--Walkers take to the streets on Jan. 22, the 29th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, which legalized abortion in the United States.
TEEN ADVOCATES--Students from St. Pius X High School, Atlanta, carry crosses representing the years dating back to 1973 in which unborn babies have been the victims of abortion in this country. Blessed Trinity, Our Lady of Mercy and Marist high school students also participated.
