Sister Eileen Murray, GNSH, Honored

GREY NUN IS LOVED--Teachers and students at St. Jude the Apostle School honored Sister Eileen Murray, GNSH, on the occasion of her 60th anniversary as a Grey Nun in September. Sister Murray taught science to fifth-, sixth- and seventh-graders from 1977-1986 at St. Jude's, and was the last nun from the order to leave the school. She is currently active in the parish's ministry to the elderly. She is an active environmentalist and "loves science, nature, animals and children." Pictured here is Sister Murray being presented student artwork from St. Jude's art teacher Beth Deery, while third- grader Cole Truxillo looks on.
