St. Pius Seniors Receive Archbishop's Award

ATLANTA—St. Pius X High School graduating seniors Andrew LaBudde and Yvonne Noggle are the recipients of this year’s Archbishop’s Award.

The award is presented annually to the Catholic young man and woman who achieve success academically in religion courses and demonstrate a high level of service to their school, parish and community.

The award is presented at graduation by Archbishop John F. Donoghue. Graduation was held May 19.

The son of Diane and Bruce LaBudde of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Smyrna, Andrew has run track and cross country all four years at St. Pius. He is a three-year member of the National Honor Society and a four-year member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and altar servers. He will enter candidacy for the Legion of Christ in June.

The daughter of Barry and Julie Noggle of Dunwoody, members of All Saints Church, Yvonne was senior class president, a eucharistic minister, a peer helper, a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and played volleyball all four years at St. Pius. She will attend North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega.
