Prayer Warriors Seek Conversion Of Hearts For Life

NEAR THE CROSS -- Paul Turtle from St. Francis de Sales Church, Mableton, holds the sign of God's victory over sin and death, the cross of Jesus Christ, during a prayer service outside the Northside Women's Clinic, a Chamblee abortion clinic. More than 60 people showed up to pray the rosary on Jan. 20, the weekend prior to the anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision legalizing abortion in 1973.

ASSEMBLY OF PRAYER -- A crowd, including Archbishop John F. Donoghue, Mary Boyert, director of the archdiocesan Pro-Life Office, standing behind him, Peter Badalato, right, from Holy Family Church, Marietta, leading the rosary, and pro-life supporters from various parishes brave the frigid temperatures during a prayer service in front of the abortion clinic.
