Seminarians Admitted To Candidacy For Ordination

LATROBE, Pa.—Two archdiocesan seminarians were among 11 men admitted to candidacy for ordination Nov. 27 at St. Vincent Seminary in Latrobe by Bishop Anthony Bosco of Greensburg, Pa. Six dioceses and archdioceses were represented in the group.

From the Archdiocese of Atlanta, Terence Crone and Bryan Small were admitted to candidacy. Crone, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrel Crone of Memphis, Tenn., earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Small, the son of Ken Small and the late Bobbie Small, is a 1992 graduate of St. Pius X High School, Atlanta, and attended West Georgia College. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Meinrad College, St. Meinrad, Ind., in 1997.

They will be ordained to the transitional diaconate on April 28 at St. Vincent Seminary.
