Father Mauro Mourlot, an incardinated priest from the Archdiocese of Santiago de Cuba, served as assistant pastor of St. Anthony's Church, Atlanta, from April 1974-December 1989. After retirement he returned to the Dominican Republic and was readmitted to the Salesian congregation. He died Oct.16 after suffering a stroke while on his way to his bedroom for the night.
