High Schools To Open With Tenth Grade

ATLANTA—Each of the two new Catholic high schools will open in August with a tenth grade as well as a ninth grade, Donald Sasso, Secretary for Education, announced.

The Department of Catholic Education in June reopened tenth-grade applications for opening year at Blessed Trinity High School in Roswell and at Our Lady of Mercy High School in Fairburn. In light of the response, Sasso said, the department has decided to commit to opening with tenth as well as ninth grade on Aug. 14.

Construction at both schools is complete and the principals and administrative staff are on site. Those interested may contact Blessed Trinity, 11320 Woodstock Road, at (678) 277-9083, Our Lady of Mercy, 861 Highway 279, at (770) 461-2202 or the Department of Catholic Education at (404) 888-7833.
