Biographies Of New Priests





Father Luis Guillermo Córdoba Isaza

Age: 39 — Birth Date: May 28, 1961. — Place of Birth: Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia.

Parents: Carmen Elvia Isaza and the late Jorge Leon Córdoba.

Siblings: Nine brothers and three sisters, including one brother who died.

Education: Studied philosophy, 1981-83, at the Seminary of the Augustinian Fathers of the Strict Observance in Bogota, Colombia; completed studies in philosophy, 1991, at the University of St. Thomas Aquinas, Bogota; earned bachelor’s degree in theology, 1995, at the Pontifical Bolivariana University in Medellin; studied at St. Vincent de Paul Seminary, 1998, in Boynton Beach, Fla.

Work Experience: In Medellin, Colombia, taught catechesis in Catholic junior high school for two years; worked for four years for electric company as driver in transportation department.
