Young Orators Recognized

WINNING ORATORS -- Joi Adams, center, a seventh-grader at Sts. Peter and Paul School, Decatur, wins first place in the state competition of the Modern Woodmen of America civic oration contest. She will compete nationally in July. Second runner-up is Joseph Rogers, right, a seventh-grader at Christ the King School, Atlanta, and third runner-up is Natalie Upshaw, an eighth-grader at The Donnellan School, Atlanta. The competition was held at Holy Redeemer School, Alpharetta.
