Rev. Mr. Luis Guillermo Cordoba Isaza

Age: 38

Birth Date: May 28, 1961.

Place of Birth: Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia.

Parents: Carmen Elvia Isaza and the late Jorge Leon Cordoba.

Siblings: Nine brothers and three sisters, including one brother who died.

Education: In Colombia studied philosophy, 1981-83, at the Seminary of the Augustinian Fathers of the Strict Observance in Bogota; completed studies in philosophy in 1991 at the University of St. Thomas Aquinas, Bogota; earned bachelor's degree in theology, 1995, at the Pontifical Bolivariana University in Medellin; studied 1998 at St. Vincent de Paul Seminary in Boynton Beach, Fla.

Work Experience: In Medellin, Colombia, taught catechesis in Catholic jr. high school for two years; worked four years for electric company as driver in Transportation Department.

Primary Hobbies and Interests: Stamp collecting, soccer, swimming and reading.

Pastoral Internships: Is serving pastoral year from summer 1999-May 2000 at St. Gerard Church, Ft. Oglethorpe; spent summer 1998 at St. Joseph Church, Dalton; in 1997 worked with Hispanics at St. Francis Xavier Church, Gettysburg, Pa.; in Colombia served at St. Christopher Church, Medellin, while student at Bolivariana Pontifical University; was pastoral associate at Our Lady of the Miracles Church where cousin was pastor and taught philosophy at Catholic girls high school in Almaguer, Cauca, 1987-89; was member of Augustinian Monastic Community, 1980-84, where taught religion in Bogota and did pastoral work in missions.

Rev. Mr. Thony Jean

Age: 31

Birth Date: Sept. 16, 1968.

Place of Birth: Haitian Cape, Haiti.

Parents: The late Jacques V. Jean and Marguerite Delaconte.

Siblings: One brother, two sisters.

Education: Earned bachelor's degree with majors in international affairs and French and minors in philosophy, theology and social work from St. John's University, Queens, N.Y., 1993; completed post graduate studies, 1994, in international relations at University of Sorbone, Paris; earned master of divinity degree in May 1999 from Saint Vincent Seminary, Latrobe, Pa.

Work Experience: Volunteered as youth mentor at Covenant House for street children while in college.

Primary Hobbies and Interests: Tennis, reading biographies, travelling to France, Quebec, French islands of Martinique and French Guyana and other countries, studying cultures of African Diaspora.

Place of Birth: Jesús María, Jalisco, Mexico.

Parents: Aurelio Oñate and Cleotilde Melendez.

Siblings: Twelve brothers, two sisters.

Education: Studied philosophy, 1988-90, at St. John Seminary of the Lakes, San Juan de Los Lagos, Jalisco, Mexico; earned bachelor's degree in philosophy, 1994, from University of the Valley of Atemahac, Guadalajara, Mexico; completed program in theology, 1998, from National Seminary of Christ the Priest, La Ceja, Antioquia, Colombia; studied English, 1999, at American Language Academy, Tampa University, Tampa, Fla.

Work Experience: Worked five months as cashier and host at Mexican restaurant in Omaha, Neb.; taught logic three months in high school as a substitute teacher, Jalisco, Mexico.

Primary Hobbies and Interests: Travelling to historic cities of Europe and elsewhere and to ancient pyramids in Egypt and Mexico; playing basketball, football, soccer and racket ball.

Pastoral Internships: Serving at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Decatur, where visits the sick and at Our Lady of the Americas Mission, Doraville, where aids homeless, gives pastoral counseling, works with youth and assists at Mass, September 1999-May 2000; taught catechesis to other seminarians at National Seminary of Christ the Priest, La Ceja, Antioquia, Colombia, 1998, and in 1996 led high school youth retreats on weekends through the seminary; 1995, worked on weekends at Our Lady of Carmen Church, La Ceja, Colombia.

Rev. Mr. Roberto Orellana

Age: 37

Birth Date: March 8, 1962.

Place of Birth: San Salvador, El Salvador, came to Riverside Military Academy, Gainesville, at 15.

Parents: The late Umberto Orellana and Anabella De Orellana.

Siblings: One brother, one sister.

Education: Earned bachelor's degree in political science and sociology, 1988, and certificate in global studies, 1989, from University of Georgia, Athens; earned diploma in global studies and diplomacy in 1989 from George Washington University, Washington, D.C.; will complete master of divinity degree in May 2000 from St. Vincent Seminary, Latrobe, Pa.

Work Experience: Worked seven years as food services manager for gourmet company; served a year and a half as Stephen Minister at Cathedral of Christ the King, Atlanta.

Primary Hobbies and Interests: Running, listening to classical music, theatre, symphony and other fine arts.

Pastoral Internships: Assistant chaplain at Pennsylvania State Correctional Institute, Greensburg, from summer 1999-present; winter 1999, pastoral care at nursing home in Latrobe, Pa.; Sacred Heart Church, Atlanta, summer 1998; St. James Church, McDonough, summer 1997. Will serve summer 2000 at Christ Our King and Savior Church, Greensboro.

Education: Earned bachelor's degree with majors in accounting and business administration from College of Professional Education, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, 1989; bachelor's degree, 1995, in philosophy from Conciliar Seminary of Mexico, Tlaltan, D.F.; bachelor's degree in theology, 1998, from Pontifical University of Mexico, Tlaltan, D.F.; studied English, 1999, at American Language Academy at Tampa University, Tampa, Fla.

Work Experience: Worked two years for Ford Motor Co. in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, as manager and accountant.

Primary Hobbies and Interests: Tennis and other sports, chess, reading history of countries.

Pastoral Internships: Sacred Heart Church, Griffin, summer 1999-spring 2000, working with youth and Knights of Columbus, leading Communion services, performing baptisms, assisting with Hispanic Ministry at St. John the Evangelist Church, Hapeville; St. Matthew's Church, Winder, spring-winter 1998; served at six churches in Mexico City from 1992-98.
