Sts. Peter And Paul Salutes IHM Nuns

REMINISCING -- Sister Judith Anne Kreipe, IHM, standing, shares an old photo from a table of memorabilia about the IHM sisters at Sts. Peter and Paul School with her cousin, Elsie Dennon, holding photo, as her mother, Ann Kreipe, looks on. Dennon was a founding parishioner who helped establish the Decatur school and Sister Judith Ann taught third grade from 1963-68.

Peter and Paul Church, Decatur, speaks with Sister Jeanne Baker, IHM, before a farewell tribute May 15 honoring the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary for their 32 years of service to Sts. Peter and Paul School. This is their last year staffing the school.


ALUMNI TESTIMONY -- Jamese Carey, a graduate of Sts. Peter and Paul School, Decatur, credits the IHM nuns with helping to build the foundation of her womanhood, spiritually and academically. A farewell program and luncheon was held for the nuns May 15.
