Education: Earned bachelors degree in philosophy and
literature, 1991, and masters degree in philosophy and literature, 1993,
from St. Thomas Aquinas University, Bogotá; studied theology, 1994, at
Javeriana University; earned master of divinity degree and master of arts
degree in Scripture in April 1999 from Mount St. Marys Seminary,
Emmitsburg, Md.
Work Experience: Made temporal vows for six years for Society of St.
Paul religious order, which has a mass media apostolate; while studying at St.
Thomas Aquinas University in Bogotá, taught Spanish, literature and
philosophy for six years at minor seminary, was assistant manager for Vida
Pastoral magazine and a book editor at St. Paul printing offices.
Primary Hobbies and Interests: Soccer, tennis, racquetball, swimming,
fishing and water skiing.
Pastoral Internships: Served from January to May 1995 at Our Lady of
the Americas Mission, Doraville; served Hispanic community at Cathedral of
Christ the King, Atlanta, summer 1996; served Hispanic and Anglo communities at
Christ Our King and Savior Church, Greensboro, summer 1997, and Church of the
Good Shepherd, Cumming, summer 1998.

Particular Ministries of Interest: Youth ministry with Spanish- and
English-speaking communities.
