Siblings: One brother, one sister.

Education: Earned bachelor’s degree in history, 1990, from University of the South, Sewanee, Tenn.; master’s degree in education, 1994, from University of Georgia, Athens; earned master of divinity degree with honors from St. Vincent Seminary, Latrobe, Pa., 1998.

Work Experience: Worked a year after college in cost analysis and sales for real estate company; co-facilitated substance abuse support group for young adults as student at University of Georgia.

Primary Hobbies and Interests: Hiking, downhill skiing, history and photography.

Pastoral Internships: Holy Trinity Parish, Ligonier, Pa., September 1998 to May 1999; St. Joseph’s Church, Athens, summer 1998; taught history and English and talked on vocations, spring 1998, at Christ the Divine Teacher School, Latrobe, Pa.; helped with spiritual program, summer 1997, at Village of St. Joseph, Atlanta; served at Latrobe Hospital and at Green Meadows Assisted Living Community, Latrobe, 1996 to 1997; St. Lawrence Church, Lawrenceville, summer 1996.

Additional Languages: Reads French, is pursuing Spanish.
