ATLANTA--Father Edward J. Murray, SM, former pastor of Our Lady of the
Assumption Church, Atlanta, died Feb. 8 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home.
The Mass of Christian Burial was to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Feb. 11 at Our
Lady of the Assumption Church, 1350 Hearst Drive. A prayer service was also to
be celebrated there at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10 and the church was open from 3 p.m. to
9 p.m. for friends.
Father Murray served as pastor from 1981-87. He was also a parochial vicar
at the parish from 1979-81 and from 1993-96 when he retired.
