ATLANTA--Archbishop John F. Donoghue has elevated the St. Francis de Sales Latin Mass Community, Mableton, to the status of a personal parish, effective Jan. 29, 1999. He has also appointed Father Mark Fischer, FSSP, currently chaplain to the community, as pastor, effective on the same date. A personal parish is established based upon rite, language, nationality or other determining factor.
