BLAIRSVILLE--The Father J. McGivney Assembly, a fourth degree assembly of the Knights of Columbus, was formed in Blairsville in December 1998. The assembly has members from Blue Ridge, Ga., and Murphy, N.C. This is the third council of the Knights of Columbus to be established in the last three years in this area of North Georgia.
