Age: 30

Birth Date: Dec. 5, 1967

Place of Birth: Saigon, South Vietnam; moved to U.S. in 1974.

Parents: Paul and Huong Pigulski.

Siblings: One sister, three brothers.

Education: Earned bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, 1990, from University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind.; earned master’s degree in aerospace engineering, 1992, from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta; in Rome, Italy, had seminary formation at Pontifical North American College and earned bachelor’s degree in sacred theology from University of St. Thomas Aquinas, 1997.

Work Experience: As student at Pontifical North American College, Rome, did pastoral work for 10 weeks at Vietnamese refugee camp in Philippines, teaching English and evangelizing; in Rome, volunteered to give tours for two years at the Basilica of St. Peter and worked at a soup kitchen for the homeless.

Primary Hobbies and Interests: Studying philology, roller blading, science fiction movies and television programs including “Star Trek.”

Pastoral Internships: St. Theresa’s Church, Douglasville, July-December 1998, has served in baptism and youth ministries, visited and given Communion to sick at hospitals and homebound, led Bible study and headed Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) program; St. Michael’s Church, Gainesville, summer 1997; spent August 1995-June 1996 in pastoral year for discernment at St. Peter’s Church, LaGrange, teaching catechism to seventh-graders and working in youth ministry, also visited sick in hospitals, offered computer support and assisted at Mass; St. Jude the Apostle Church, August-December 1992;

Particular Ministries of Interest: Marriage ministry, OCIA program and youth ministry, particularly teaching catechism to youth and adults.

Ordination to Priesthood: Dec. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Church, Dunwoody.

First Mass: Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. at St. Theresa’s Church, Douglasville.
