Age: 30

Birth Date: April 30, 1968

Place of Birth: Guadalupe, Huila, Colombia.

Parents: Lisandro Trujillo and María Dolores-Luna.

Siblings: Six brothers, including three priests in Colombia, three sisters.

Education: In Bogotá, Colombia, made religious profession for Society of St. Paul, 1989; studied philosophy at Archdiocesan Seminary of Bogotá, 1989; studied humanities, 1991, and earned degree in theology, 1997, from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Work Experience: Worked for four years as graphic editor and designer for books and bulletins published by Bishops Conference of Latin America in Bogotá; served for 16 years as a Boy Scout leader in Huila, Colombia.

Primary Hobbies and Interests: Reading psychology and computer books, soccer, basketball, tennis, camping and running.

Pastoral Internships: St. Bernadette’s Church, Cedartown, September 1997-December 1998, where he has taught catechism to children and youth and Hispanic Order of Christian Initiation of Adults program and assisted with Spanish and English Masses and marriage and baptism preparation classes; provided computer support with parish bulletins and schedules and other administrative assistance, given talks on Bible and sacraments at St. Mary’s Church in Rome and visited and administered Communion to the sick in hospital.

Additional Languages: Spanish and French.

Particular Ministry of Interest: English and Spanish parish ministry.

Ordination to Priesthood: Dec. 19 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Guadalupe, Huila, Colombia.
