Sister Josephine Patti, GNSH, one of three sisters elected as an administrative board member, served at Christ the King School, Atlanta, during the 1950s and spent the majority of her 15 years in Atlanta at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she was administrative resident, assistant administrator and vice president for mission effectiveness.

Also elected to the board was Sister Mary Charlotte Barton, GNSH, a Grey Nun for more than 50 years. In addition to teaching and administrative jobs in Philadelphia, Sister Barton served in Atlanta at the D’Youville Academy, which was open from 1960-69 in Chamblee.

Sister Mary Elizabeth Looby, GNSH, was elected for her second year as a member of the administrative board. During the first 12 years of her religious life, Sister Looby served in Philadelphia and in Atlanta at Christ the King School.
