Marist Senior Recognized

ATLANTA--Marist School senior Isabel Gonzalez has been named a scholar finalist in the National Hispanic Scholar Recognition Program for 1997. The program recognizes exceptional academic achievement by Hispanic high school seniors and identifies them to colleges and universities to seek out as potential candidates for admission. Gonzalez is a parishioner at Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Atlanta. She is among the 3,000 highest scoring Hispanic students in the nation on the preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test and other national testing programs. Marist School is a private Catholic college preparatory school for students in grades 7-12.
