Catholic Bumper Stickers Available

ATHENS--Churches, schools, organizations and individuals interested in purchasing bumper stickers that are distinctively Catholic can now purchase them in mass quantity.

The small, square stickers display the Vatican insignia of the pope's beehive-like tiara and the crossed keys of the kingdom.

An earlier news story on the Catholic stickers prompted inquiries from churches and individuals interested in them, said Father Steven Pavignano, OFM. As a result additional stickers are being printed.

The cost of each yellow sticker is 25 cents or less depending on the size of the printing order. Orders are requested by March 7.

Father Pavignano, director of campus ministry at the University of Georgia in Athens, has been distributing the stickers at the campus Catholic Center and mailing them to prospective students to help Catholics at UGA connect.

To place an order contact the Catholic Center at UGA, 1344 S. Lumpkin St., Athens, Ga., 30605 or call (706) 543-2293. The E-mail address is Cathuga@uga.cc.uga.edu.
